Hey, come on. Be fair. Their XBox is quiet... it's their XBox 360 that sounds like a jet fighter taking off...

Right, that's what I was going for...

It could just be for PR reasons. Think about how bad it would look for them if their kids were seen with an iPod or iPhone. It'd send the signal that even Bill Gates doesn't inflict the Zune on his kids.
Of course, what's happened instead is that he DOES inflict the Zune on his kids, and it's news because he does that instead of let them get the iPods they want. A win for Apple PR either way, simply on account of how much the Zune is behind the iPod.

"I wouldn't use her comments. From where I'm sitting, sounds a bit unseemly to use his wife against him. I just think some things should be out of bounds."
Beside it's not like Apple actually need to do anything to fight off the threat of Zune.
For kids, having to carry a Zune must be like the old days when moms would make you wear jeans with a JC Penny label while everyone else had Levis.

It's rather ironic that they don't allow Apple products in their home, yet they have no problem ripping of features from OS X and putting it in their OS. Thats one way to have your cake and eat it too.

I most certainly hope so, Mr. Spim.

If you own stock in a company, you should do business with the company. If your wife sells Mary Kay, you better not bring her home some Liz Claiborne. LMAO

But what Billy Gates doesn't know (and Sweaty Balmer, for that matter) is that their kids do use iPods and iPhones.
They have astutely managed to hide them inside massive Zunes cases. You don't believe me ? It's right there : http://hideapod.com/
Regards.

Microsoft has used Macs in their advertising, so what's the big deal? Macs have been seen in their print ads, and the famous old Pentium TV ad was made on a Mac.

I recall the famous line from Mommie Dearest, "No wire coat hangers!" This can now be, "No Apple iPods!" in the Gates household.

"Wait until she finds out that Bill's been hiding a MacBook Air in a manila envelope in his office (with its shattered hinges)."

mine doesn't sound like a jet taking off but then again mine wont even turn on and is actually on a UPS Truck in its way to Texas to the Microcrap Repair center to get fixed for the 14th time... I am about to take it out to the middle of the desert and blow this hunk of junk up... then hold out for Apple to make a gaming console...

XBox 360 Repairs = 14

Playstation 3 Repairs = 1 (but was due to 2 year old son sticking 4 discs into the drive at one time)

Nintendo Wii Repairs = 0

actually Mr. Jobs does have a XBox 360 I got his gamertag you want it... he also has a Gateway PC running Windows 3.1 (says all the other versions of windows sucks)

What I find funny is my Uncle-In-Law works for Microsoft (IT Guy) and says 65% of the employees there including himself use MacBook Pro's yet iPhones are banned on campus.
