Here's a newsflash to the developer of this app- the best update you can make is making this app free. No one is going to buy your $40 app that does exactly one thing that many cheaper and far more versatile apps already do.
Go to the forums at Skypecap.com and you'll see there's not a single post in the using Skypecap for Mac forum- why? Because Wiretap Studio, Audio Hijack Pro, etc already record Skype and any other system audio.

I'm beginning to take Stick lessons via Skype now, and the ability to record video would be great... anyone know of a free/affordable way to capture audio and video?

Call Recorder from ecamm works really great with Skype, for both audio and video. Inexpensive, and they have some bundle deals, too.

+1 to Call Recorder. works GREAT and has a reasonable price. Great customer service also. I don't understand how SkypeCap adds value for the extra $25... it has the same functions, so maybe it's a bit steep.
