Does anyone actually use this program? When I had a demo some years back, it was very buggy and crash-prone, at least on the Mac. Plus, the current requirements seem really stiff.

Several animation studios use Toon Boom Animation software though the company is marketing to 2D Artists. Reference http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ToonBoomAnimation Since I'm a 3D Artist my preference is to use Autodesk Maya on OS X. Animation software should be viewed as a tool in an Artist's arsenal to get the job done on time and on budget. No matter what software is used I've found that both 2D and 3D software for Artists have their strengths and weaknesses. As long as a company is willing to improve on the product keeping the Artist in mind then in the end it will benefit everyone.
