Does anyone have experience with Gimp-Print? MacSlash has a article and a list of supported printers, including my old Epson Stylus Photo EX.

It says these printers will work under OS X, but after installing, I can't seem to make it work, although I do get farther in dialogues than before. I can even get a screen print prevue in Photoshop.

But I still dont have a printer description for the Epson to select. Can anyone help with this. I am afraid I am just not doing something simple. But I am stumped... Thanks

With some printers I have used I am able to use the OS 9 ppd in the system folder/extensions/printer descriptions folder. I am using an OS 9 ppd for an Agfa Proset 9800 imagesetter and it works.

Download the latest version of Gimp (4.2.2). It now includes a pdf file that explains how to get up and running.
