I just moved, and had to leave my cable modem behind. In my new home, it will be alittle while until I can get a cable modem again, so i am forced back to my 56k GV USB modem, and AOL 5.0 (yeah, yeah...).

I re-installed the GV software, on my main harddrive, on which I am running OS X/OS9.2 (starting up in 9.2), and check to see that all of the Extensions were in stalled and active......but when I try to sign on with AOL, it says that it cannot initialize my modem. The Globalfax Controls recognizes the USB modem, and when AOL is supposedly trying to initialize the modem I see the Connection light blinking.
I am at a loss as to why this is happening. Is it perhaps an incompatability, since I am now running OS X/OS9.2?

Any ideas? Any help would be appreciated...
