Forget the CS3, how about fixing the CS4, particularly Fireworks, what an embarrassing release. Sure the UI might look like the CS4, but the thing does not even work on the same color space as the rest of the CS4 applications. So if you do graphics on Fireworks, your stuck editing them, or color matching in Photoshop. Fireworks is so unstable, that you risk using it to being with. At the moment, it's only using up HD space, because it is plagued with bugs and instabilities for real production work. They killed Image Ready, so in essence, Adobe does not have a dedicated Web image editor at the moment because Fw is BROKEN!!!

Absolbloodylutely mate. Adobe has really put out a poor release and has not done anything about it for several months.
ALSO, Adobe said they would provide me with free upgrade (as I bought upgrade a cpl days before CS4 came out). They keep saying they will send it, but adamantly refuse to do so, after months of calling them... It's like a battle of attrition with their bloody Support.
ADOBE KEEP YOUR WORD AND GIVE ME THE PROMISED UPGRADE. Why are you trying to make me hate you?
I'm sorry to rant off-topic here, but they won't listen, if anyone — INCLUDING ADOBE — is reading this and can help pls lemme know.

I recently reinstall all my software and was wondering if i should download the updates for Acrobat Professional...
from
Adobe Acrobat 7.0.5 Professional Update to
Adobe Acrobat 7.1.0 Professional Update.
Should I (is it safe to) enable Javascript so I can downloaded these updates or should I wait until the latest patches are completed on May 12?

If you are downloading the software from Adobe's site, I don't see why you should be worried. The flaw is only going to compromise your computer by opening a malicious PDF through a web site particularly engineered and probably spoofed to appear something that it is not. Once you have the patches loaded, you should still go ahead and disable JAVA.

Hello all, I just thought you would like to know that Adobe seems to have finally heard my desperate pleas for my rightful upgrade, and —after 9 months, 87 phone calls, 67 support messages—they have relented and the upgrade package is supposedly on its way to me now.
Was all of this nonsense worth it? Oh and yeh... Tks Adobe...
