That's a tough one... But I'd have to say it's a the between Quicksilver and Things. Quicksilver has become such an intergal part of my mac workflow, it's hard to imagine my mac without it. Things is one of the best programs ever made, and it's made me much more organized and productive. It's simple, beautiful and works perfectly. And the iPhone app intigraton makes it simply indespencable. Such a cunundrum.

Xcode. Then I can use all that time alone to make some new applications. And have a lot of fun doing it. With Wifi I can look up code examples if I'm stuck, or download PDF books to learn new things.
Xcode isn't a third party app, though. So, presuming your Mac is already equipped with Xcode, what third-party app would you absolutely need?

Assuming all the bundled apps that come with Leopard are installed on the machine then I would pick Apple Logic Studio for my desert island app.
Right, but Logic Studio isn't a third-party app. So presuming you could configure your Mac however you wanted using Apple apps, what one third party app would you be hard-pressed to live without?

It would have to to a web browser like safari or firefox (along with my sprint internet card) - you would then have the world at your fingertips, email, online apps, etc..etc...) My second must have is garageband because I love to write music...
