Your desert island app

Stranded on a desert isle, with naught to do but survive, I think my 3rd party App of choice would be Daylite. This contact-appointment-project management software (CRM if you will) would allow me to keep track of all the important things to do - I could carefully plan my days, assuring that my coconut-gather didn't conflict with my tree-house-building or my fish-spearing, and its alarms would remind me to check on my fire at regular intervals. I could plan the construction of my tree-house so that I would be sure to have it done on time, and when Friday finally came to visit, I'd make sure to have all his (her?) contact details safely stored and linked to Tasks or Objectives like dinner and rescue.
If I could (having saved all this time by planning my activities and contacts with Daylite) have another app or two it would be OmniGraffle (for designing my tree-house and making sketches of everything under the sun), and iMindMap (to conceptualise and plan and brainstorm my free time away...).
Oh, but wait - gotta go: Ship Ahoy! (Hmm, maybe Skype would be a good thing to have, too...!)

A simple key command will launch Snowmint Creative Solutions LLC's Ultimate Pen to let me annotate Finder windows, screen shots, fill in forms, mark up maps?
I have brought this app with me through several Macs and continue to call it up to do its unique job(s).

Microsoft Works 2.00b, I've been using Microsoft Works since 1989 and 2.00b is the 1992 final version. Thank the powers that be that it still runs in Classic Mode under 10.4.11. Though I really like it's integrated nature (Word Processing, Spreadsheet and Database), it's the database that I use the most.
I was too lazy to learn Appleworks. Hey... I've got years of MW practice and now Appleworks is dead.
I could and occaisonally do use Word or Excel, but I'm really lacking a database, particularly one that is so well integrated into the word processor as MW's is.
FileMaker Pro costs $300 and does way more than I need and has a huge learning curve. Bento only runs on 10.5. Address Book isn't nearly capable enough.
I actually have a hard time believeing that Apple can sell so many Mac's into the home market without a user-friendly integrated app like Appleworks or Microsoft Works. What the heck do people use today? iWork isn't it, and has no database. Office has no database...

I know I'll be ridiculed a bit for this because I'd have to chose the one app. I use most often no matter what platform or computer I'm on, and that's one that every OS already has but not my choice to use. I would have to chose the Firefox web-browser with ALL of the add-ons and plug-ins that make it so much more necessary for me.
The internet not only saves me money but makes me money as well, and I need all the help I can get in these trying times. So shoot me for giving one of the most obvious choices.
