Consensus seems to be that VPC 5.x runs significantly better under 9.x than 10.x.

Some time back , there was a 'how to' doing the rounds that claimed a 200% increase in VPC performance by a procedure which replaced the finder with VPC itself .. - I never tried it, but now have a client - Mac user - who wants to use VPC for a fairly demanding app and doesn't mind rebooting to get into and out of it.

Has anyone done this successfully ? Under OS 9 say ?
Or was it a Myth or something that would ony work about 4 OS's ago ?
emails welcome. Thanks./
