Scanner and printing

Anybody can inform me why I can't print a scanned photo bigger than the original size of the photo ?

I'm trying to print with photostudio which comes with canon N67ou scanner

Tell us what steps you go through when you try to print. Can you set your print options to scale the image? You should have some print settings that you can change, although I am not familiar with the canon scanner or its software. The software may not let you enlarge an image to prevent pixelation. When you scan an image in, can you scan it at a larger %?
