Original hard drive from G3

i replaced my original 6 GB hard drive with a 120 GB drive.
what is my original 6 GB drive compatible with? is it any mac computer?

If it's a SCSI drive, you can use it in any computer that has a built-in SCSI bus or contains that appropriate SCSI card for integrating the drive into the computer.

I'll assume its an IDE drive since you replaced it with a 120GB drive. One that size for SCSI would have cost a ton of money. IDE drives can be used in any reasonably new Mac and in all PeeCees. Make sure the jumper is set for Master or Slave, whichever is appropriate for the machine into which the old drive will be installed.

I'm going to guess that it's an ATA drive, not a SCSI drive. If this is the case, it is compatible with any computer made recently, except the laptops, which use a smaller drive.
