Hey there,

I have an Epson Perfection 1240U Scanner connected to my G4 Tower running Mac OS X 10.2.2. I had some problems doing a clean install on my computer, since there were time's when after doing a clean install I accidently deleted my OS9. However, my scanner worked natively in OSX.

Now I have my system running like I want it to, with OS9 in place and OSX does not recognize my scanner anymore. What gives?

If you have installed the software for your scanner and it isn't working in OSX(10.2.2)it might need to be updated to work with Jaguar.
There are also a couple of other options aside from the Epson Drivers:
SilverFast blank>http://www.silverfast.com/osx/en.html
and VueScan blank>http://www.hamrick.com/index.html
