2nd HD doesn't appear on OS 9 - but does in OS X

My second hard drive 80 GB won't appear in OS 9, but it does in OS X.
Anyone have any solutions?
I already ran Drive Setup in OS 9 but it doesn't show my 80 GB hard drive in the list and I ran Disk Utility to reformat it, but that didn't work either.

Internal or external? I have a similar problem with my external (not showing up when I boot into OS 9, but does in OS X). It came with some software from Annubis, which has to be run before OS 9 recognizes the drive -- I have no idea why it works automatically in X and not 9, but that's the way it is. Did yours come with something similar?

When you formatted it in OS X did you choose the option to install OS 9 drivers?
