Instant Desktop... Possible?

One of my favorite icons on my PC is a little pencil-on-paper icon that sits in the task bar and when I click it no matter how many windows or programs I have open it places the desktop on "top".
Is there a way to place an icon in my iBook dock that will allow me to pop the desktop up to "top" rather than hiding each open program to get to it?

One option is: hold option key down & double click any title bar to send all open windows to the dock.

Much quicker: Just hold down Command and Option and click the Finder icon in the dock.

You could also go here http://www.codetek.com/ and buy the program virtual desktops, I have it and it is awesome, try the trial version you only get 2 desktops but it will give you an idea how useful it is.

Search for ShowDesktop at Versiontracker. It does exactly what you are looking for. Look it up. /forums/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif
