Jaguar? Should be JUNKuar. LOL.

Im not impressed after spending my $120 for the upgrade? downgrade?

Im getting errors I didnt get with 10.1.5. images/icons/frown.gif

after booting up, and once after launching IE 5.2.

"the program you are using needs to use a system file that may reduce the security of your computer. the file DeleteTrap.kext has problems that may reduce the security of your computer. contact the manufacturer of the product you are using for a new version. if your sure the file is OK, you can allow the application to use it, fix then use it,. If you click dont use, any other files that depends on this file will NOT be used".

Soooo.....

anyone else having this problem? what does it mean? any ideas?

didnt happen when using 10.1.5

My recommendation is to back up your documents, do a clean install, restore your apps, and restore your documents. I would just tell you to reinstall IE but since you get that message comes up when you start up the computer, it tells me that you most likely have a corrupted kernel or kernel extension (kext). Also, did you get the latest security update?

I don't think calling it JUNKuar is going to solve your problem.

On second thought, Philbert may have an insight that I don't.

I don't have any details, as I don't use NAV but I was just reading blank>this thread.

Also, check this article out. I found this with less than a minute of searching. It looks like this is a Norton problem, not a Jaguar problem.

It's a Norton issue, not a Jaguar issue.

Dude, knock off the flamebait. Jaguar is hardly junk. If you want help with your problem you will get better responses when you act more civil instread of trolling. Just because you have problems doesn't mean that the software sucks. It means you have may have a software/hardware conflict.

Man, there are countless people here (including myself) that have had nothing but positive experiences with OS 10.2.

You think that the software is 'junk', just because you're not having good luck? I hardly think so. Is the 'junkyness' what caused Apple to sell well over 100,000 copies, breaking the previous record? I think not.

I wish you the best of luck in fixing your problems, but because you have problems, doesn't make the os crap.

jeesh, everyone is so sensitive here. lol.

calling it junk is my personal opinion. I'm entitled to that. Not trying to offend anyone so get over it.

Im angry I paid $120 to have problems that I didnt have before.
