Hi folks,
I hope you can help. I am running OS 10.2 Jaguar and have an odd problem with my modem settings. The modem seems to work fine but it's an irritation more than anything.
When I go into 'Modem' within the 'Network' settings window, it tells me that my modem's country setting is United States (I am trying to change it to United Kingdom). However when I click on the 'Change' button next to it, the 'Date and time' window is brought up. Unfortunately within this window I can't find anything that isn't set to U.K.
Can anyone tell me how to alter the country setting please ? /forums/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif
Thanks in advance, Rick

hi Rick,
Just go to the timezones tab in the date and time prefs and click 'on' the UK (or type in your closest big city eg. London in the text box) and you are now local. /forums/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Tried it last night, initially didn't hold much hope as it was already set to London, and the rest of the settings were to the U.K. However on clicking about on the map a few times I shut down the Date & Time, only to find on going back in to dial up connections that my modem is now set to United Kingdom.
Thanks for that /forums/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif
