I've been getting a little frustrated with my system bogging when im doing heavy-duty work in flash. my dock gets laggy as do window movements.
So im going to upgrade the ram with a 512 stick in addition to the pre-existing 256.
do you guys think this will give me a signifigant boost? or should i start shopping for new systems. btw im running 10.2.

Ya it will help. When it comes to OS X the rule of thumb is the more ram the better. You should notice a bit of a speed boost. And your system is fine so dont even think about getting rid of it.Im typeing this on a 400MHZ iMac DV.
