HELP! How can I move the Gradient Editor in Photoshop 6.01 back to the center of the screen? I've accidently dragged it partly off the screen with the title bar not visible anymore, and hence cannot drag it back. Now, whenever I click on the color swatch (2nd icon from left) in the Gradient Options Bar, the Gradient Editor appears with the top and left part off the screen and hence, cannot adjust the left Color and Opacity Stops and all of the swatches (default and customised settings), though the latter can be accessed by pressing Enter when the Gradient Tool is selected. So, how do I do it?
Another question is whether it's possible to change the order of the swatches (default and customised settings) in the Gradient Pallete (Gradient Editor). I've also accidently deleted the default foreground to background swatch and had created a new one but it's placed at the bottom of the order which is rather inconvenient as this is the most frequently used.
Thanks for your input.

Hit Command + K to bring up Photoshop's preferences and under "General", click on the Reset all Tools button and UNcheck the "Save Pallet Locations". Restart Photoshop. If that doesn't do the trick, quit PS and trash Photoshop's preferences.

Thanks Phil for your prompt response. Been away from my Mac, so couldn't reply earlier.
Resetting all Tools button and UNchecking the "Save Pallet Locations" didn't work. Made a copy of the Adobe Photoshop 6 Settings as a backup, and dragged it to the desktop. I then trashed just the Gradients.psp file in Preferences. On restarting PS, the Gradient Editor remained where it was earlier, ie the right and bottom half of it at the top left of my screen, but to my surprise, I found I could drag the Gradient Editor by the bottom right corner (meant for resizing) by holding the mouse button down after restarting. I then tried to replicate it by trashing the new Gradient.psp again and replacing the one from the desktop. After that, the moment I clicked on the Gradient swatch (2nd left icon on Options Tool bar), nothing appeared. All the Menu items were greyed out and clicking on any tools neither worked and so had to force quit. Same result after a few tries. The file must have got corrupted probably because I didn't quit and restart PS after replacing, if I recall correctly.
Finally, threw away the entire copy in the Preferences and dragged the copy minus the Gradient.psp from the desktop to replace it and restarted PS. It worked this time and PS generated a new Gradient.psp with the Gradient Editor at its default location. All my tool settings and custom gradients, brushes, patterns, shapes, etc were gone as expected, (I had saved them all in a different folder prior to resetting all Tools) but the color settings remains intact.
Just discovered (Had earlier turned on Sort List by Date Modified while fiddling in Preferences and now switched back to Sort List By Name) that I have 2 sets of the Adobe Photoshop 6 Settings (same name with same spacing) in my Preferences! Any ideas? I'm not throwing any out now as PS is working normally and am too busy at the moment to mess with it again. I guess I'll be throwing away the older one when I have some time later.
Ken.
