WHY WHY WHY does my connection keep disconnecting itself after about a minute, saying server not found or no response to server when I'm in the middle of using it - usually still trying to get into my home page at this stage. It can happen continually for the first 20 minutes or so (if I haven't given up before then and gone on to my PC).

If you're running 10.2.4, it's something of a known glitch that 10.2.5 is supposed to fix...whenever it comes out.

Rob,
That's interesting. Any more information available on it? I'm running 10.2.4 and haven't experienced any problems except the "normal" timed-outs that happen now and then. Our daughter is visiting us, and she has told me that she's been kicked off AOL pretty persistently using this machine, but I attribute that to AOL, not to the Mac's system.

There are a series of articles on Macintouch's special report, I think, as well as at MacFixIt (though I don't know if they're still reachable).
