The story of a "switcher." He preordered 12" PB BTO which came DOA 3 weeks later. After being "on hold" for almost a month, having no ETA for the needed part Apple agreed to send him a new unit. When it will arrive?
2 months ago I was hyped over the 12", now I wonder if I ever pick up another Mac. Good job Apple!

No no, the 12" is actually broken. The money im getting for that plus some money i have saved (and some help from my parents) have let me get the 17". That 12" wont be here tomorrow, its going to mac of all trades.

QuickBooks Pro New User Edition is bundled. It's pre-installed, and also on the restore cd. I'm not sure how 'new user edition' varies from the regular version.

Have you burned any DVDs? How about sound quality? I know it won't be a symphony but hopefully it's worth listening to a disk. This thing is REALLY making me think about not getting a Mac desktop.
