I am being besieged by custom icons. With all the icon killer apps out there (which make you deal with each icon separately). I know there are people sympathetic to my plight. I have noticed that in certain open document dialog boxes, the custom icons are ignored. I am looking for a Finder plug in that will do the same (automatically ignore them all). I know I can turn off icons entirely but the folder and basic file format icons are very useful as they were intended to be. There are e-mail filtering apps for Spam, why not for custom icons. It is achievable in an open document dialog box it should be achievable in a Finder window. if this does not exist yet I would be willing to contract a programmer to write this for me.
