I have a 15" titanium PD and was wondering if anyone has tried connnecting it to the new Linksys 802.11g APs.
Any issues I should be aware of prior to buying this?
Thanks

There shouldn't be any issues. 802.11g is backwards compatible with 802.11b (what your PB uses). Keep in mind that you won't get the 54Mbps speeds though. If you don't plan on upgrading your PB in the next few years, and the older 802.11b is cheaper that may be a better option for you. If you do go with the 802.11g product and you do have problems connecting then return it. That shouldn't and won't happen with such a device that is working properly.

I use a Belkin 802.11g access point with my iBook. One thing you will want to check is whether or not the software to configure it is available for the Mac unless you also have a PC. I had to use my wife's PC laptop to set-up the access point - change password, enter MAC address, etc.
After the intial set-up... no problems. /forums/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Typically, Linksys uses a web browser interface for configuration. So, you shouldn't have any problems.
