I'm finally seriously considering upgrading to OS X on my trusty Lombard PB and wanted to know how others who have done it have found it to be. Any comments appreciated. Is it worth keeping a minimal version of OS9.2 in a seperate partition on my HD or does Classic really cover any of the software or other drivers that aren't OS X compatible?

Hi
I upgraded from a Lombard 333/512/30 to my new "SuperBook." I did run Mac OS X as my primary OS and used 9.2.2 as Classic. I will have to say don't even think of doing anything real intensive. It does fine with things like email, word processing, occasional Photoshop, etc. Everything for the "average joe" is very usable. Keeping a full fledged 9.2.2 setup depends on if you have programs that don't work in Classic. But otherwise you should be fine. Good Luck and Have Fun!!
