What Happened, Safari?

I've been using Safari on OS X since the browser was released. It has performed wonderfully since January. Now, out of the blue, its speed has dropped incredibly!
To make sure it wasn't my cable connection, I used IE 5. It ran fast (but not as fast as Safari has). I cleared the history, cache, and cookies. And I still have to wait at dial-up pace to load simple sites like Yahoo! and nytimes.com.
This makes no sense.

Perhaps you might want to re-install ... also are you using the latest version? It's v60, and came out on February 12th I believe.
