Thanks! A bit unexpected at this time! Too much public pressure, perhaps?
I got to go check out the specs.

Wowwww ... I love the resolution! Now there's no reason for me not to get one ... and the prices are "reasonable" for the size 23" and pixel resolution at 1920 by 1200 pixels.
I could do very well with the 20-inch monitor for $1299, that's awesome!
Time to spend some cashola!

Anyone who recently bought a 23" is going to be suicidal now the price has dropped by half!

Did older displays have USB ports on the back?
These things are awsome! I'm drooling all over my keyboard. (more so then usual)

Makes me wonder why the upgraded GHz weren't anounced at the recent MacExpo.
Closing the speed gap is probably one of the things customers most wanted to see happen.

Right on Pierre! Apple doesn't make customers happy the way they slash cut update their pricing. "Tiered drops" avoid a lot teardrops for people that spend/spent their hard earned saved cash on Apple products. The display example is the absolute proof.

Yes, they may be suicidal, but they won't be so here ... this is, after all, the OS X forum.
Sorry for closing it, but it's clearly off-topic for the OS X board...
