Costumize Invoices etc..

Is there a way to completely costumize the Incoice setup, the lines are to thick and to boxy.

Diane T described a workaround solution in this thread about Printing a simple packing slip which has been working well for me.
Truly customizable invoice layout is one of the most requested features mentioned in this forum.
