iDVD

Is it possible to use iDVD on a computer without a DVD burner?

"iDVD 2 requires a PowerMac G4 computer with 256 Megs of RAM, a built-in DVD-R Superdrive and Mac OS 10.1.3 or later."
I installed Jaguar on my Lombard and it didn't install any DVD software, I suppose because it doesn't see any DVD hardware.
