Networking broken in OS X 10.1.5

I updated to 10.1.5 a few days ago (Radeon TiBook) and have been having problems with the network connection over Ethernet periodically dropping. I wish I had more details but it's happening apparently randomly. Sometimes rebooting fixes it and sometimes it doesn't. The cable and jack are fine.

I'm also seeing the desktop picture problems others have mentioned.

Thanks for pointing me to that site -- my problem is a little different from the reported complaints in that I'm on a static IP, not DHCP but it's the same issue.

Hopefully a patch is coming soon. That's a really unacceptable issue.
