Can anyone recommend a good ad program for Jaguar/Internet Explorer? I've been searching for one that is sahreware/freeware and have only really found ones for PC.
Thanks,
JT

OmniWeb has the best ad/popup/cookie filtering I've seen for OS X. The 4.5 beta 1 uses the same HTML engine (WebCore) that Safari uses. /forums/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

How well does the pop-up filtering work? What happens if a company uses popup windows as part of their e-commerce. Do these filters recognize the difference between ad popups, and popups that serve a real function?

No, the additional windows will not pop up unless you physically click on a link that opens a new window. You need to disable the pop-up blocking in Safari for sites that make new windows on their own.
But really, it's not a big deal, you just open the safari menu and uncheck it.

In OmniWeb under Preferences/Javascript ...
code:
Scripts are allowed to open new windows:
( ) Always
( ) Only in response to a link being clicked
( ) Never

The "only in response to a link being clicked" comes in handy for online banking, shopping, etc.
