using an external fw-hd via network

hi
i am accessing my mac with my windows-laptop over a network using the "windows file sharing" function from os x which works just fine. i have an external firewire hd connected to my mac which i would also like to access with the windows laptop but when i login to my mac over the network all the folders i can access are my user folders, not the mounted fw-harddrive.. is there a solution for this? any help would be appreciated, thanks

Just share out the the files/folders on the HD you want to access.
You could also create a symlink from within your home folder to the FW HD to gain access to it that way.
