I guess I installed a version of Safari long ago (but I use Camino). I would like to start using Safari again but it downloads this little thing called: nph-safariB2.dmg and then it fails. What's the trick to downloading the latest beta?

Are you downloading from Apple.com?
Try other sites, such as download.com's mac section, versiontracker.com, etc...

Try downloading from Apple. The simplest, easiest, fastest browser there is for OS 10.2
"Relax & Enjoy A Cold One"

Safari tends to use the cache for downloads so you may have had file corruption downloading the first time and subsequently you got the same download when you thought you were redownloading. Try another browser or clear out all of Safari's caches.

Hi Everyone,
I used Cocktail and deleted all caches, Booted up IE and went to Apple and it's all good now. Thanks!
