Anyone know of an app./utility that will create .img files in OS X? Booting into 9 just for that is getting a little old.... Thanks in advance!!

.dmg's aren't good enough? What do you do with these .img's?

Needed for clients who still use OS 9 for whatever reason.... Installers and such need to be compressed images, etc...
Any app. suggestions?

Have you tried images made with Disk Copy?

Do a search for DropDMG on versiontracker.

The Disk Copy version in OS X will only allow for the creation of .dmg's -- unless I'm missing something. And the OS 9 version of Disk Copy will not run in Classic. Hence the need to boot into OS 9 to create .img files.....
Hate booting into 9 just for those... /forums/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
