DVD Player Not Working After QT 6.3

I just installed QuickTime 6.3 on my iMac G4 running 10.2.3. Now DVD Player won't work. It opens and plays the menu of the DVD, but it comes up with a dialog saying "DVD Player encountered a serious error. Unknown error. [1634955892]" with the only button saying Quit. This happenes with any DVD, even when I moved over another copy of DVD Player from our Power Mac running 10.2.6, which plays DVDs just fine. Is there a way to fix this?

Trash (and empty the trash) this file in your pref. folder
com.apple.dvdplayer.plist
If that doesn't work there are other things to do.
