iChat connection problem

Hello. I'm having a problem with iChat and connecting to AIM. Sometimes it works, but usually it doesn't -- when it doesn't it says "Unable to connect to AIM" and gives the following error message: An error has occurred. The server message was: Auth:ResvRate
Any idea what I can do to fix this?

Do you have the same problem when you try to connect with AIM instead of iChat?

I connect through AOL and don't use AIM, so no.

Well if you download AIM and try to connect using AIM, instead of iChat, and it works, then you know the problem is with iChat and I would bet that your only option is to reinstall iChat, or just use AIM, Adium, Fire, or Proteus instead of iChat.
