displaying chinese characters

I use an iMac 450, OS 9.2.2, netscape communicator 4.79. Could someone tell me how to set my software to display messages that are sent using chinese characters. I received a e-mail messaage from China but the message is displayed as garbled symbols which I cannot understand. Thanks. Ron

I believe it was under the view menu then too.... Character Encoding/Coding.... Should work...
