4.0.1's what I have. Use it all the time--it's a great program.
It's my favorite one of the iApps, and I'm eagerly awaiting the Windows version so I can manage my music on Windows using iTunes.
I'm predicting that AAC will become more widespread once Apple releases iTunes for Windows. I'm also thinking that Apple's going to make a lot of money on the iTunes Music Store once the Windows version is out...
Interesting article on Apple's music strategy on MacCentral's webpage.

Cool. I am at 4.0 also, even though I don't share playlists. It's very unlike me, but everything is working so good that I am afraid to update from 10.2.5 to 10.2.6. So I have neglected other updates in SU as well.

Well, I have 3 because I don't/can't use the iTMS (lack of a credit card), and I heard that there is not much new becides the version number. I don't really care about AAC....I only have 7 songs(i don't listen to much music)! I beleive that it dosn't really matter what number program you have, as long as is works and dosn't have any problems! I don't try to fix perfectly working things! The same goes for the OS, I have 10.2.1, what my iBook came with! It works, so I just leave well enough alone!
