'Mice' or 'Mouses'

Well, I've always used "mice". "Mouses" just sounds too weird to me.
"All the mouses in the computer lab are optical"
"All the mice in the computer lab are optical"
Mice just sounds nice.
Hey, isn't it weird that "moose" is the plural of "moose", not "meese", while "geese" is the plural of "goose", not "goose"?
And "mice" is the plural of "mouse", while "houses" is the plural of "house", not "hice"?
I love the English language. /forums/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Actually to be gramatically correct it would be mouses. Mice is the plural for a mouse (meaning the rodent). However, we are talking about a piece of technology that is called a mouse. So when speaking of more than one mouse you would say mouses. You can also look in the dictionary and it will tell you under the "computer science" definition that the plural for a mouse is mouses.
