Hello everyone,
To my knowledge, I have changed nothing. Yesterday I was running my spiffy TiPB 667 (the one with the quirky IR port) and everything was fine. Today, my ctrl key only seems to work occasionally. Truth be told: I discovered the problem when I loaded the video game "Stronghold" for a few moments of (ahem) needed down-time. Immediately I...well...lost CTRL. The key seems to work for Word, but I'm unconvinced that it's fully responsive now, and I'm wondering if there is a good way to confirm if it's the hardware or software or the OS or something else hard to determine. Is there a particular library preference that could have become corrupted that I should trash? I'm concerned that this might be the first of a series of similar malfunctions, and I want to forestall that possibility.
Your advice is greatly appreciated.
