I use a G4 (AGP) with 400 MHZ chip. Would like to install a DVD-RW drive either internally or purchase external Lacie Drive d2. Is my Mac fast enough to handle iDVD (if I go internal route) or CaptyDVD Mac software (if I go the external route) for making DVDs?
Thank you.

to answer your question in short.. Yes. Your Mac is fast enough for it. You might want to make sure you have enough RAM though.. some of those Apps require certain amounts of RAM to run.
