Finder Font size help

Running 10.1.5. Is there anyway to make the font larger on the text of the destop icons or fonts in finder windows? I can make the icons larger on the desktop with the finder preferences, but the text itself down't get larger. My dad has a hard time seeing the text size of the fonts.

My father has the same problem. I just reduced the resolution of his display (896x600) on his TiPowerbook. Since he doesn't use just the finder, changing the screen resolution made it easier for him in all apps.

Of course he gets less screen realestate but he prefered that to not being able to read the text of make out the icons and pictures.
