Every time I try to burn a disc now on my Imac, with a super drive I get a disc error. Sometimes it just says can't burn because of disc error and sometimes it says can't burn disc error 6. It does not seem to matter if it is data, audio, or pictures that I am trying to burn. I have reinstalled my system software, so it is just like it was when I pulled it out of the box, also I ran all of the hardware tests. I am not out of ideas. Any sugestions!

Try a different CD brand other than that I'm just as lost as you are.

Disclaimer:
I've used the following procedure for other problems, but never for iTunes. Can anybody say if this will ruin playlists? If not, then go ahead and trash the following file, it may be corrupt. Once you re-launch iTunes it will make a new file so don't worry:
Hard Drive - Users - Your User Folder - Library - Preferences - com.apple.iTunes.plist
Again, I can't guarantee that this will not ruin your playlists, though I'm 90% sure it won't. You may want to wait until somebody supports or refutes my statement. I'm pretty certain all that information is stored elsewhere.

I'm gonna guess you are using a Memorex CD? Memorex CDs are noted for their poor reliability, and regardless of what you are using now, I would start by trying a different brand CD from whatever you are using anyway. Sony is good.
