Mail-Emptying folders

Anyway of getting Mail to do what OE does in OS 9, i.e.allow you to delete mail from any folder at any specified elapsed time?
(Mail lets you select up to a month for "sent", "Trash" anf "Junk".)
Is there an applescript for such action?
