Is anyone out there running their clamshell ibook on 10.2? Maybe I should just stay with 10.1 or 9.2. This machine will be used just for carry around work processing and internet via my airport system.
The other question is about ram. This machine as 32 on board and i put in a 128 a couple of years ago. Though that was enough for 9.2, I don't think it will fly for 10. I can either get a 256 or 512: any suggestions?
thx, troy

This is posted from an indigo clamshell firewire iBook running 10.2.6 at 366 MHz with 576 MB RAM.
I have found every OS X update to be an improvement. The rumor is that 10.3 (due out before the end of the year) will benefit older Macs, making things seem speedier.
So dig out the user installable parts manual, find a nice 512 MB strip of 144 pin SO-DIMM and have at it! But maybe wait for 10.3 so you're not paying for two systems within a few months.
