I'm having printing problems with my Canon i850 printer. When using OS 9.2, it worked just fine. Now that I switched to OS X 10.1.5, it doesn't work. I went to Canon's web site and downloaded the i850 printer driver for OS 10.1 - 10.2 and it still doesn't work. Do I need OS X 10.2 just to print?

You would find it easier to print with 10.2, yes. 10.2 supports CUPS (Common Unix Printing System), which allows you to use printers not natively supported by OS X. But with Panther coming out soon, you may want to wait for its release before upgrading your OS.
In the meantime, you might try printing your files in the Classic environment. One way to do this is to save files as PDF, open the classic version of Adobe Acrobat, and print from there.

Thanks Chris, I appreciate the advice. I tried printing from the Classic environment and it worked. In the meantime, I'll keep a look-out for Panther!
