hello all,
i'm having problems opening my old quark 4.1 documents that are on a windows server.
i'm running quark 6 in os 10.2.7 and all my quark documents appear as generic blank page icons. i'm not able to open anything and i've tried repairing my permissions twice already.
any suggestions would help me greatly
thanks for your time!

Do the Quark files have an extension appended to them i.e. .qxd ?
If not add it.

You are probably mounting the server using SMB which is how a typical WinBox would connect...your WinServer is probably running Apple File Services and you should be connecting to it through Appletalk. Try the following:
- Make sure Appletalk is active by activating it in the Network Control Panel found in System Preferences.
- Choose Connect to Server from the "Go" menu in the finder (Command-K). Select the "Local" in the first column to reveal any other Macs and Servers with Mac Services in the Second Column.
Good Luck
