After installing 10.2.8 build 6R73 Norton Anti-Virus broke and the download I did today of NAV 9.0 did not install correctly. It seems to have installed most of it, but there is a message that the engine did not install. I am trying Symantec assistance- non provided yet, but be careful about installing 10.2.8 if you need NAV to work.
There is also a problem uninstalling Norton personal Firewall (1.0) since the procedures on the Symantec site which call for using the uninstall disk do not remove "the files that are in use" so it leaves the sytem stuck without the firewall but without the ability to turn on the OS 10 firewall, since that claimsthat other firewall software is active. Now reinstalling the Norton from the CD doesn't work either.
