Hi I'm new to the forum and feel like a ninny asking about networking my G3 running OS 10.2.8 and an Imac running 9.2 and a Powermac 8100 running 8.5
I have an ethernet card in all 3 a nortel router made by bay networks ( model 800) and no manuals- I am using DSL for internet connections.
How do I set this up for file sharing and internet sharing between the 3 machines?

Here's an old MacWorld article on setting up a broadband router with OS 9.
Please also see the file-sharing setup links I included in this thread.
I suggest you visit the Apple site and Download the OS 8.6 update to 8.5.. It's free and a very nice, stable system.

I didn't do well searching Nortel's site specifically for a Bay 800 router. It's not one of the usual consumer-purchased routers (LinkSys, D-Link, NetGear, MacSense...)
Is this a stand-alone router, or is it integral to your DSL Modem. (One box or two?)
Did your ISP or DSL provider set anything up for you on one of your systems? If so, which, and how is it configured?
