I have OSX 10.2.8 and I am trying to connect to an NFS disk as a registered user. When I use the Go->Connect to Server method (nfs://server/share) it automatically connects me to the server as a guest. I can see the folders but can't open anything (they have red circles on them). I need to mount the disk as a registered user so I can get to my files on the disk, but it never gives me the option to type a user name and password. (I just upgraded to a new computer - previously I used Mac OS 8.6 with a 3rd party chooser extension (NFS/Share) to access this disk and it worked fine.)
If anyone has any ideas to help me I would really appreciate it. Thank you.

Try nfs://username@server/share or nfs://username:password@server/share.
