Ever since upgrading to Panther Safari keeps giving me server not found and other errors when trying to load web pages. Sometimes I have to reload the page several times, is there a way to make Safari look for a web page for longer before timing out and giving errors? I get this problem when sites are busy sometimes but with Panther it's a lot worse. Checked on the Safari help pages and my DND server setting are fine, this is a Panther glitch I think. /forums/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I'm a huge firebird fan myself. The ability to block ads with a right click is excellent. My only problem with it is that it seems to use more memory then safari. If you are doing a lot of multitasking and have had firebird open but not active, it will take awhile to pull it off the swap space. That has been an issue on windows and linux as well. I just need more memory in my powerbook I guess.

Here too. I'm on dialup and have complained about Macworld's website slowness before (one would expect it to be the fastest Mac site going). I use Safari for day-to-day use, and still have Camino available for online banking. I haven't tried Firebird; is it really good? Is it worth the time it takes to download?
