Find in Register default to "Current Acc't"

It seems simple that Intuit should be able to
set up a defualt setting for CURRENT ACCOUNT
in the FIND and not have to not go
through all the accounts. I am a creature of
habit and type in the info and just hit find.
They have promised this for at least 2 years.

you are absolutely correct. The feature was much better years ago before they changed to the current dialogue window with more choices.

Who is "they" and did they promise it over the phone or in writing? I have never been so fortunate as to have anyone at Intuit promise a fix, or document such a problem in writing, or indicate in the release notes that such a problem has been fixed.
For the record, I submitted this issue as a suggestion on 7/8/03 during beta testing for Q2004. I thought my reasoning was compelling and clearly explained. I think such a change would not be a significant modification to the program code. I am sitting here 5 months later, like you django, wondering if "Product Suggestions" is simply a label Intuit puts on its wastebaskets
